LAUREN COOPER (BROUGHAM)   joined the firm in September, 2006. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Cooper was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago Law Department. While serving the government, Lauren refined her legal skills by prosecuting hundreds of municipal code infractions. She learned well the arts of negotiation, motion practice, and high volume litigation.

As a Chicago native, Ms. Cooper attended St. Ignatius College Prep, and worked as a college intern at the Cook County Assessor’s Office.

Ms. Cooper currently donates her time as member of the CURE Jr. Board, a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for epilepsy. Until recently, she was the head freshman women’s basketball coach at Mother McAuley High School.

Ms. Cooper is an active member of the Women’s Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the St. Ignatius Law Society.

Ms. Cooper graduated Cum Laude from Winona State University. She earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2003.
